You will need to take the title & registration to Michigan (BMV) Bureau of motor vehicles, They issued it.
The new vin tag is usually pop riveted over the old vin #. They may have put the Bradley on another frame & didn't relocate the new vin tag. Worst case do a title search on the old vin and follow Ohio's procedure to get a title for the Ghia under abandoned vehicle or mechanics lean. Good luck

Your rear suspension, Is it a swing axle or an IRS? If your bottoming it may NOT be your shocks, sounds like the suspension needs adjustment. U-tube has a few videos on how to adjust. Or you can go to this link www.airheadparts.com/vw-rear-height-adjustmentRegards, Mark

Most states require the cap to be vented as they place the cap in the machine and it is suppose to register a %. They go by the vehicle name & year to verify the proper % . I doubt they even have a Bradley listed in their test machines. Mine is vented from the filler tube w/ hose into the fender well where I have a charcoal filter canister mounted, talk to the mechanic & see if they will accept the alternative. Regards,

Welcome Jesse, where do you hang your hat, you might be in an area where a member can come by & help you out. To identify the VW year you can get the vin # from the rear hump- center where the back seat would have been, good luck with your ideas the best part of these kits are that you can modify it any way your imagination wants to take it. Go to Google under "images" put in Bradley gt and see all the creations....

Congradulations, 35 years later is not so long, where did it go.... Rebuild the carburator, replace fuel filter (inspect gas tank for corrosion). Remove the plugs, add a little marvall mystery oil (or similar), let set for 24 hours hand turn the motor. Than.... place rags over the plug hole (not in them) remove the coil wire and turn the motor over with the key. Clean up the mess put in the plugs reattach the coil wire....fire it up. Usual places it may leak oil from sitting will be the crank shaft seal and the push rod seals. Let us know your progress. Good luck.

Your right it is not, they rust up from condensation. The hose from your air filter to your oil breather is all you need for pre heating.
