I saw the same original brad seats for sale in some catalog as a generic fiberglass bucket seat. May be worth researching

GTII seats were car specific.

GT seats had a unique headrest design that made driving easier

do these mounts go onto the factort VW tracks..or are holes needed to be drilled?

Drill through the floor. You don't need the factory seat rails at all.

Factory mounts will put your head through the doors...unless yor VERY tiny.
