Here we go again, found that my gas tank fuel sending unit is broken, it has an open coil. So I ordered a replacement, I went for a ACVW Bug '74 ( like the chassis I have) and of course, it is NOT the right one, the impedance is out of range and the float travels in the opposite direction. Does any one know witch one would it be the right after market replacement and post the information? Thank you

You need to get a flaot for the guage you have. Is it a VDO gauge? Check www.egauges.com. Look for a universal sender in the right range.

Thank you for the referral; I went to the site and they have a very good selection of cars goodies. Finally I ordered a replacement fuel sender. I learned that these are match made for the individual gauges. Every day I'm learning something new about the old Bradley line of products. . . EDIT: The fuel sender I ordered from E-GAUGES, 240-30 Ohms and adjustable in length, this is the key information for the GT II replacement part.
