I test drove a 2012 Beetle back in December and it was a lot of fun, but I wanted to wait for a convertible... Now there is a new concept called the E-Bugster, it looks like a chopped version of the 2012 Beetle, convertible, and its Electric. Here is a YouTube link www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5n7yZn2TME

This has me curious how much difference there is in platform sizes... I know its FWD, and its going to be around $20-25,000+ (the turbo with all extras is right at 26k).

I remembered getting a set of coffee cup coasters in a VW tin with the Concept T on it, I finnaly found them and it was back in '04 when I saw it. It sure doesn't seem like 8 (almost 9) years since then, were has time gone?

The only company that would touch mine aafter my old ins.co. was bought out is American Collector. I told them it ws a modified VW Beetle with a Bradley GT body, sent my pics, and for $260.00 for a year i am happy with it!
