As a fellow kit car owner, Its my opinion that an uncompleted kit car that does not have a radiator connected to the motor... makes it hard to believe there is a good running engine present, and is just not going to sell for that much money. Kit cars are money pits. You have to finish em or sell em for alot less to someone who can finish em. A nice GT II just sold here in California for $1400 with a fully rebuilt and running VW engine included for an additional $1,000, with a completely assembled body and new interior installed. My 2 cents worth...your asking way too much.

What rotary engine, I don't see no rotary engine! NOT FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $3000.00 HA HA How bout a few pictures of the engine! Is it rear mounted or mid-engine? Why the work on rear window? NOW $500-1000.00 Finished painted & runing $2000- 3500.00 This is a hobby, not a money maker. Lucky to get your money back out of it.

I fully understand the comments of the price being too high, I thought that my initial quick drops made it clear that I am definitely willing to negotiate. I am alot more reasonable than the guy with the GTII electric that was asking $7500 on ebay. The rear hatch was actually started because the first GTII that I purchased didn't have any back glass. I later had to buy a second one to replace the cracked windshield and got the rear glass with it but by that time I prefered the look of my creation. The engine is rear mounted. I will also have to add a picture of the engine in the car to prove that it exists (no really guys it is a trick, when someone got here to pick it up I was just going to hope that they didn't notice ) Skip20: Unless alot has changed since I got the car, $500 is the starting price for any GTII that has an uncracked windshield no mater what the rest of the car looks like (aka, my second GTII, and your most recent purchase). So it sounds like what you guys are saying is that I need to get off my lazy ass and finish what I started. I guess that I also need to get started parting out my extras to lower the price, anyone interested in: GTII gauges Brake Master cylinder (new) VW bug IRS transmission Set of GTII emblems GTII liscense plate frames Rear Glass, or custom rear hatch. Rear quarter glass

The alternator almost hides the whole engine . Reminds me of seeing one on an engine stand seeing how small it was. A lot of power in a small package with 5 cars I'm out of room for a new project or I would try and get it from you.
