Bradley GT, Some assembly required.

Great Project Kit Car! Bought the body and chassis to restore, then went out to get motor, windshield and other parts. Have most everything needed to assemble. Then I was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver Disease. Now I can’t finish the Project. My loss is your gain. Over $4000 invested, Take it all for $2200.

Classic 1970 Bradley GT body with roof section in good condition. Have a couple of small areas to be repaired with fiberglass. Includes Corvette windshield. Have original instructions as well as a bunch of information I found online.

Body has had main electrical harness replaced; need to be connected to new fuse boxes (included) and instruments. Have large scale complete schematics for electrical system. Have new instruments to replace most of old instruments. Have hard to find front and rear Bradley bumpers and rear engine cover.

1968-69 Volkswagen Chassis with engine that runs. Rebuilt carburetor, new distributor, and new exhaust system. New shocks all around. Has new master cylinder and new brake cylinders and brakes installed. Currently has 4 bolt VW wheel hubs. I have a set of adapters to convert to conventional 5 bolt wheels. Also included are a set of 4 mag wheels that mount to the wheel adapters.

Have new floor pans that need to be welded in, possibly need seat area dropped to accommodate pair of new racing bucket seats (included). Also includes a set of rails that lift body 3 inches to accommodate new bucket seats.

Have 3 steering columns and a couple of steering wheels. Many miscellaneous parts such as new brake and accelerator cables, air filters and gas filters. In addition to original gas tank, also have new plastic tank. Plenty of othe parts to finish project.

Includes second chassis front end and tunnel, also includes 3 extra transmissions, pair of 5 lug VW wheels and tires that hold air. Have fiberglass Baja front end. Also set of doors, and rear glass for a classic VW bug. Use these items to sell or trade for parts you may need to finish the project.

Unfinished projects take a lot of time and money to finish and all those unattached parts make it very hard to transport even for a short distance, making them not worth anything near what is invested. A finished bradley, running and on the road might get from $4,000 to $7,000 if its really really nice. I have learned from those older and wiser than me that kit cars are not collectibles, they don't grow in value with age, not an investment, except for the love of building something with your own hands. Thats the joy mine brings, the satisfaction of building it, fixing it, customizing it myself for myself. My wife calls it my money pit. I call it my physical and mental therapy.

A guy nearby me in California sold a bradley GT II for $1,200 with a completed body including great condition original gel coat color, brand new interior, good finished chassis. Engine not included. Wiring needed finishing. By comparison, your a bit high on your expectations of value your project has. The GT II is much more desireable than the GT 1 you are selling. I have a GT 1 too.

Some one might take it off of your hands though.. maybe closer to 500 bucks to a grand though. Sorry if your into it for more than that. Sorry for your sickness..
