I absolutely despise Facebook. I hate the whole timeline thing. I have no interest in someone's cute baby or puppy pic, clever puzzle, political rant or favorite recipe for pine nut gruel. That said I have an account only so my business can have one. I have made perhaps 3 posts on my personal one and then only because I felt I had to. I probably should spend the time to understand the myriad of settings that change from week to week but I have more important things to do... like change the air in my tires, record my lawn's daily growth, pretend that I'm imagining things...

No facebook here. Can't stand other people's business. Even my 20 year old has never been on. Between twitter and instagram (and others0 he says its plenty easy to keep up.

This is my first post but I was lurking here long before I actually joined the forum.
Facebook is just a tool to help people who know each other or share similar interests to find each other and share ideas. I'm also a member of the FB group.
The admin of the FB group could provide a link to the forum in the group's description. It's also possible for the group's admin to "highlight" a post, which could be a link to the forum, so that it was the first post any visitor saw. Doing either or both would increase the cross traffic between FB and forum.
In my opinion, it's in the best interest of the community to join the FB group to the forum as much as possible. FB is an easy medium for sharing pictures of our toys and bringing events/news to the attention of the community... but the forum is the true repository of knowledge for people who are restoring or want to restore a Bradley.

And here I've been trying to recrute those on the Facebook page to come here for the wealth of information that is in the archives and to join in the whole experience of owning a Bradley. I try to pass some good info on there, and keep leaving links to here to help answer specific questions that have been solved by many of us.
Yes there is a lot of crap there, but there is potential in ideas and resources that are either overlooked or forgotten about as well. Even if 1 person there finds that this is the better alternative for experienced knowledge, then my efforts to direct them here have not been wasted.
By no means am I saying abandon this site, but help me draw more in to make this the stronger following. That's about all I have to say on the Facebook subject.

Facebook seems kind of dead too. I've had a join request open for a few days with no bite.

I am no friend of Zuck's monstrosity (aka FB)... (However, that being said, the lure / charm that it has! ... The following that it has! ... ) ... Buyer beware, even if it is "free"? ...
