I had my stored bradley started about 2 months ago, and when I went to put it up for the winter, It would only fire as long as I dumped some gas into the carb, but would not continue to run. My guess is stuck float or fuel pump. Any other suggestions? BTW, where is the fuel pump?

When I had this issue it was just the fuel filter. She would start but not stay running, after I replaced the filter she was good to go.

Fuel pump to the left of the alternator stand.
I would disconnect the fuel line at the carb and crank the engine to see if you have fuel coming out.
And a new fuel filter would not be a bad idea. Given that its a Bradley you might have one between the carb and pump AND/OR one between the tank and the pump

Got it started with a LOT of starter fluid. So far, since I got it home, I have adjusted a dragging brake, replaced a rotted tire valve stem, replaced all the gas lines, and ordered some 50 w oil for an oil change. I need 50 weight for low pressure when it gets up to temp. I have tried all sorts of cleaners to remove the mouse pee on the front, but looks like a complete stripping down and re-coating with Vertglas.

Hi Leonard, I use 20w-50 racing oil in mine. Seems to work real good. Gary Hammond,
