How can I see the difference between a single and double port engine?

Hi Leonard, The single port or double port refers to the number of intake ports in each cylinder head. You have single port heads on yours which require a single port manifold. It uses a one piece tube that goes all the way across the engine and fastens to the head on each side with a flange. Like in this link. single port manifoldWith dual port heads, the intake manifold is a three piece construction. The center piece fastens to cast aluminum end pieces with a rubber boot. The end castings then bolt directly to the heads. These end castings are Y shaped to provide for feeding two intake ports into the heads. Thank you for the info. As of now I have a hose clamp over the hole. Still a little leak buy not bad.
