I just got a 78 gt2 body. I know I'm out of luck for a windshield. What is the best vw year this fits on. Is there a year range I should be looking for. New to group. Thanks

also you need a good donor car your going to need a lot of parts and an instruction manual for the GT2
If you have ever built a model car you'll know why.
some one on here will have one.

go to you tube and look up Mustie 1's channel he just put out a karmanghia video with a donor karmaghia. I'm sending you a link i put on here recently. hope it helps. good luck with your build.
if you do just 1 thing per day on your car you will be very happy in 1 month.... even if its 15 minutes each day.

#5 get a cd from "Jeff Troy for Gt or Gt2" ck out the detailed information on these C.D.s here, and/ or look up... "Big Bob Kit car" both are beyond creative and God is on here too.

Side Note ,Air cooled.net is a vw parts dealer but there tech articles are a wealth of information.

FOR VW PARTS and supplies,
vw parts at.... CIP1, C.B.performance, Jbuggs, Moore parts, Appletree dune buggy, and ebay .

I'm sure there are many more but I hope this helps beside I needed a break from my dune buggy build so i thought i would throw this out there hope it helps.

I really want to get my hands on a Mazda Miata and see what I can do with that as far as transering parts. the wheel base and width are either the same or so close they look like it, the ride height is spot on... It would be nice if i could drill out spotwelds and pull that body and drop a Bradley body on, but I know that isn't possible without a lot more body work.

Or a Lotus Elis.

Either have windshields i think would go well with the Bradley/ B-GTII
