Hey everyone i am new to the forum but here i go. My name is Drew i live in Temecula, CA and i bought my GT2 off my grandmother. She wanted a new TV and i wanted the car so i got her a flat screen and installed it and got the car in return. IT WAS GARAGE STORED SINCE 1971 AND HAS ONLY 386 ORIGINAL MILES. Now, 3 years later I am getting around to getting running (as of right now seems to only need a tune up) and dealing with the DMV and Cali SMOG BS. i wanted to introduce myself and share some pics and info. i still have all the emblems, I am almost sure that i have the only GT2 that HAD an automatic in it (i blew it up on the first drive then switched to 4 speed), it has type-3 front and rear suspension married to a type-1 belly pan, 1865cc dual carb vw, TRU spoke rims (not a big fan thinking of replacing), i have the original Blue manual with all pages with shipping box (even bubble wrap), just ordered a new Screamer kit to be installed (new distributor, coil, wires, and plugs), i replaced the automatic with a brand new 4 speed with a close ratio first, second, third, and a high flyer fourth, i have a remote oil cooler and fan with thermostat sensor, instead of vw heater boxes im using a south wind heater, i have a matching two belt pully system for the alternator and a/c unit. Any thoughts or comments please share Thanks Drew P.S. how do i add pics to show you guys

you have to put them online somewhere like photobucket or something. then copy/paste that link here. when you compose a message, you'll see the little photo icon. click that then stick your link between the tags......
welcome, big bob

Very classy early Bradley build. I like it. I would suggest a new set-up for those carb return springs. Probably not the best idea to have them attached to the valve cover bail. And you need that front filler strip for the bumper. I think the black offset looks good.

I wouldnt trust those tires on the hwy if I were you. Could be a very interesting(exciting) ride for you. I got a set of tires from the automotive school I attended for my truck once. They were brand new (no mileage) not sure of age though. Instructor said they had been in the Storage building for years. One night after work, I was driving home on the Interstate and heard a pop. I just new I had a flat! I pulled onto the shoulder looked back and saw my tread laying on the road. My tire was still aired up and worst than bald! I drove home on the steel belts. Craziest thing I have ever seen. Oh did I forget to mention it was a front tire, what a moron I was. Course that was only 16 years ago.

Ok as of right now my bradley has less then 700 org miles with everything stated above and some more extras. I have been driving it as my daily car lately and it runs great. I couldn't be happier but im said to say I have to sell it due to personal circumstances. What do all of you guys think this car is worth. I have little to no idea what I should start at or how much its worth in general.

ah man, bummer... that had one of the cleanest interiors (considering) i'd ever seen. but i'm sure you have your reasons for needing to sell. really bummed for you. you should be able to get $2000-$2500 for it. it has nicer engine, new tranny and a/c. AND the radio shack cassette player big bob
