Hey Everyone,
This week I have the pleasure of taking a team of 13 racers to our division finals in South Carolina. Last year was our first year as an IHRA sanctioned track and we placed 8th out of 12 teams. Considering most teams had upwards of 50 drivers and we had 12 it was pretty good
We are also bringing something I am sure they do not see much in SC. A 1985 Mazda RX7 drag car that one of my employees will be racing. It has a rotary engine mated with a GForce transmission:)
Should be interesting

It has been raining to 2 days here. Not very happy that I have spent more time in the RV than watching the races!

Well 13 turned into 11 cars after 2 broke. We gave it our best with 11 drivers but its impossible to get the points needed to compete with teams of 50. I am not complaining because our drivers did send a few really good champion drivers to the trailer in the first and 2nd rounds. Our Rotary Powered RX7 showed a few guys that these little cars are not as inconsistent as they thought laying down an 009 light to send a 3 time champ home.
There was a very interesting vw dragster out there that I snapped a few photos of and when I get caught up today in the office I will post them.
